“ Right around the corner from LC's,this is another old school KC BBQ spot in the inner city. Burnt ends special is on Monday, so obviously I went w that. The burnt ends are unique in that they are sorta cut into strips. Sauce is thinner than most and is different and unique but very good. This has gained my respect. ”

I opted for the 2 meat combo (ribs/sausage) with beans and mac n cheese as sides. “ I came here as part of my brisket sandwich tour. Many suggested it’s underrated and I tend to agree! We got our meal to go. I had the sliced brisket sandwich with fries. The brisket was sliced thin and had a nice wood flavor. They use hickory and oak to smoke their meats. I ordered the sandwich with sauce on the side and it was delicious! My wife ordered the sausage sandwich and it was better than the brisket sandwich. I thought it had a stronger wood flavor. It had a great texture. Definitely a great bite of BBQ. The fries were handmade. They were tasty and I even found myself licking the salt off my fingers thinking how good the fries were! ”

Atmosphere makes you feel like you're in an old cabin, exactly what I want from a BBQ place. Great service, great food, decent pricing. I'll be eating here many more times. ”
